A lot of people are complaining that they’re bored right now because of the quarantines in many areas. A lot of people are on lockdown and discouraged from leaving their home.

The fact that you’re able to watch the above video means that you have a device that you can connect to the internet with which means that you have the entire knowledge of the world at your fingertips.

One of the reasons that people get bored is because they’re spending countless hours watching movies, TV, and scrolling social media. You have to stimulate your mind.

You know all of those things that you keep saying that you’re going to do once you have more time? Now you have the time!

You could:

Learn a new skill

Learn to plan instrument

Start an online business

Write a book

Listen to an audiobook

Read any book (or a real one)

Search out and sign up for online volunteer opportunities

You could also take the dog for a walk

Pick up some litter in your neighborhood

There are countless things that you could be doing with your time right now. In fact, once this thing is over you’re going to be kicking yourself for not taking better advantage of the time if you don’t.

Please, stop focusing on all the things that you can’t do and focus on the things that you can. when you focus on all of the things you can do you’ll find that you’ll discover even more things because what you focus on you tend to get more of in your life.

Living with gratitude every day is a very powerful technique that has been shown in research studies to improve outcomes for people with depression and it will tend to elevate your mood.

I’m going to start a gratitude tree on social media and I’d love for you to comment there or start writing down everything that you’re grateful for. Each day write down three things or more that you’re grateful for. It could really have a transformational effect on your life.
